A: While travelli pandora sale ng in Portugal I got to experience first hand the beautiful Cork tree forests all throughout the country. I loved the texture and all the wonderful properties of the cork fabric. Bought one handbag for my personal use and when I returned to Vancouver people kept asking me about the bag; they loved it and could not believe how original and soft it felt. So that gave me the idea to start designing the bags.
Q: How did you come about working with cork as a handbag material over other conventional ones?
A: Cork is environmentally sustainable. We like to call it “Nature’s leather.” All the sealants and dyes used in the creation of each handbag are water based. Therefore no harsh chemicals are used, unlike regular leather.
Q: What’s new for the upcoming season?
A: We have new colours for the fall/winter season like dark brown, and blue, as well as the more traditional natural cork colour
Q: Who is your main market?
Women ages 15 to 80. I have different styles that suit both young and mature women. There are a couple of really cool bags the younger crowd really likes and I also have more conservative practical handbags for the mature pandora sale ladies. Because of the uniqueness of the pandora sale cork the handbags will for sure start a conversation when people wear them.
Q: Do you make your products yourself, and if not, where are they manufactured?
A: The handbags are handmade in Portugal.
Q: What’s your price point?
A: They range from $65 to $190 depending on the size of the handbags. The $190 handbag has an insert that you can use inside the shell or you can take it out and use it separately, as well as the shell itself. This means you have two bags in one.
